How One Community collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
This Policy describes processing of personal data when you visit public pages, register as a member, use employer tools, apply for jobs, join chapters, make payments, or contact support. It applies to our websites, APIs and related admin portals.
This document is a platform policy template for operational transparency. It is not personalised legal advice. Where Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable) requires additional notices or consents, those will be presented at the point of collection.
We do not sell personal data. Aggregated or anonymised statistics may be used for community reporting.
Depending on the activity, we rely on: performance of a contract (membership and platform services); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, limited analytics); and consent where required (for example certain marketing messages or optional profile visibility). You may withdraw optional consents without affecting core account security processing.
We may share data with:
We retain account data while your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, security and dispute purposes. Support logs and security logs may be kept for shorter operational windows. Payment records are retained as required for financial compliance. You may request deletion subject to legal exceptions (for example pending investigations or statutory records).
We use industry-standard measures such as hashed passwords, HTTPS in production, role-based access, and separation of admin/employer/member portals. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong unique passwords and protect OTP codes.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, and raise grievances. Use in-app profile settings where available, or contact support with the email/mobile registered on your account so we can verify identity before fulfilling requests.
The platform is intended for users who can form a valid membership relationship under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect data from children below the age permitted for such services. If you believe a minor’s data was submitted, contact us for removal.
